This module is designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge to familiarize with drones and camera equipment to optimize capabilities for media production, ensure adherence to local aviation regulations for public safety and minimizing legal risks and apply aerial cinematography techniques to capture 4K quality footage.
After attending the course, learners will be able to:
- Examine the installation of an aerial camera on a drone according to the features, functions, and technical specifications
- Provide constructive input on camera angles and movements to improve visual shots usingvarious aerial effects
- Apply aerial cinematography techniques, adjusting camera settings to address factors influencing footage quality
- Adhere to aviation regulations and communicate with local authorities to obtain clearance for aerial shoots
- Apply workplace safety standards and health regulations pertaining to camera operations in administrating checks
- Execute flight paths according to the flight profile with instructions for operating aerial camera systems and equipment
- At least 21 years old;
- At least secondary school education;
- Able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy Level (WPL Level 4)
