This module is designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge in making Chinese Moist-Heat Dim Sum Dishes. It also includes the types and uses of baking tools, equipment and ingredients.

After attending the course, learners will be able to : 

  • Understand ingredients for Chinese Moist-Heat Dim Sum dishes
  • Identify aromatics and cooking liquids in Chinese Moist-Heat Dim Sum dishes
  • Prepare Chinese Moist-Heat Dim Sum dishes
  • Perform plating Chinese Moist-Heat Dim Sum dishes
  • At least 18-years-old
  • At least secondary school education;
  • Be able to speak, listen, and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy Level (WPLN Level 4)
  • No prior Food Services industry working experience required
