The PWM-Food Services: Food Safety Course Level 3 (Chinese) is a 21-hour advanced training program designed for food safety managers, supervisors, and professionals aiming to elevate their expertise in food safety management. Delivered in Chinese, this course focuses on food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and advanced food safety inspection techniques to ensure that food safety protocols are strictly followed in both retail and non-retail establishments.
To equip personnel working in retail and/or non-retail food establishments with the knowledge and application skills to:
- Conduct food safety and hygiene checks;
- Identify hygiene lapses and manage non-conformances; and
- Implement food safety and hygiene policies and procedures to ensure effective implementation of pre-requisite programmes and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)-based Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
After attending the course, learners will be able to:
- Comprehend key food hygiene principles and types of food hygiene licences
- Recognize food safety regulatory requirements for retail and non-retail foodestablishments
- Distinguish between types of pre-requisite programmes (PRPs) implementedin food establishments
- Conduct food safety and hygiene inspections and checks using 4 different approaches
- Recognize food safety and hygiene lapses and administer corrective actions to remedy them
- Understand HACCP Principles and Food Safety ManagementSystem (FSMS)
- At least 21 years old;
- At least secondary school education;
- Be able to speak, listen and read basic Chinese
