The Make Classic Cookies course is an 18-hour hands-on program designed for baking enthusiasts who want to master the art of making delicious, perfect cookies. From understanding the basic principles of cookie baking to creating different types of cookies, this course will guide you in preparing a wide variety of classic cookies, ensuring you can bake like a professional.
This module is designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge in preparing basic cookies. It also includes the types and uses of baking tools, equipment and ingredients.
After attending the course, learners will be able to:
- Identify Food and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Requirements
- Identify Principles of baking Cookies
- Prepare Dropped Cookies
- Prepare Molded Cookies
- Prepare Cut Cookies
- Prepare Piped Cookies
- At least 18 years old
- Have at least secondary 2 school education
- Be able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employ ability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification Workplace Literacy Level (WPLN Level 4)
