About Us

XpRienz Hospitality & Tourism Academy is a subsidiary of XpRienz (Singapore), a training organisation based and incorporated in Singapore since 2004. XpRienz (Singapore) is one of the Singapore Approved Training Organisations (ATO) for Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) that offers WSQ courses to Adult learners.

The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) is a national credentialing system that trains, develops, assesses and certifies skills and competencies for the workforce. The WSQ programmes are funded and quality-assured by SkillsFuture Singapore, an agency of the Singapore Ministry of Education, which awards the WSQ certifications.

Our aim in establishing this Academy is to develop the workforce in the hospitality and tourism industry by promoting holistic development of the workforce through technical and generic skills and competencies and support economic development to drive the tourism industry in Thanh Hoa and other provinces in Vietnam.

LEARN ENGLISH LANGUAGE

This programme is conducted in English language and includes a module “Converse in English at a basic operational level’ for hospitality industry

COURSE DURATION
  • Two (2) months
  • Weekdays (Monday to Friday)
  • 8 hours per day
COURSE FEE

USD 700 (Seven hundred US dollars) or VND 16.200.000 (Instalment payment plan is available)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
  • Passion to work in Hospitality industry
  • Able to speak, write and read in basic English language
  • 18 years old and above
  • All applicants are required to go through an interview process to assess their suitability to work in the hospitality industry
CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of program and competent in all assessments, the participant will be awarded with WiSC Certificate – Workforce International Skills Certification, Singapore

3 SPECIALIZATION COURSES

1. HOUSEKEEPING

This course provides entry-level employees with the skills and knowledge of basic housekeeping operations. Housekeeping or room attendants are key caregivers to hotel guests. They provide the wholesome touch to ensure quality of the overall guest experience during their stay – from comfortable and well-made beds to sleep in, thoughtfully prepared guestroom amenities, to a clean and hygienic bathroom to shower.Hence, it will enhance guest overall.

2. FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICES

This course provides entry-level employees with the basic skills and knowledge of food & beverage (F&B) services. An F&B server is responsible for serving food and beverage with exceptional service to customers, performs pre-service activities, sets-up the dining table, serves food and beverage orders including modifications and special requests, delivers the correct food to the corresponding tables, clears finished courses and table at the end of service. The server is also responsible for computing food or beverage service bills and verifying completion of customer orders.

3. FRONT OFFICE

This course provides entry-level employees with the skills and knowledge of front office operations. Front Office Receptionists are usually the first and last hotel staff to handle guests. Hotels normally depend on them to make a favorable first impression; and a memorable parting impression.  Thus, it will enhance guests’ overall accommodation experience.
